Male Anatomy Piece - WIP 6

WIP 6- I've been working on polishing anatomy here and there on my character. I am pretty happy with the front of the torso, front of thighs and head. I am having difficulty getting the back of the legs and the arms correctly modeled. Any critiques are welcome :)

Christopher - WIP

Just a little update on my model. I figured some un-textured renders could be a good way to show the little details. It still isn't finished, I'm very unhappy with some parts of him. Slowly but surely I'm polishing him up to my liking. I can't wait to retop and get some specularity in there. I hope you like it!
Also, he seems to be getting more evil every time I post an update XD

Joe's Portfolio Class - Final Project

This is my final project, a portrait of my friend. I hand-painted the textures with polypaint in Zbrush.
It was a challenging process, but I'm not entirely unhappy with the result. I plan on working on this more over the break.

Male Anatomy - WIP 4

I worked on his face and torso. As usual, I have found this to be a challenge.

Male Anatomy Piece - WIP 3

I am currently having abnormal troubles getting the shapes down. I am using a real-life male model as reference, and his body is different from most "idealistic" bodies. This is more challenging than I expected...

Luz - WIP

Another WIP of our horror game's main character. I've started playing around with diffuse and normal maps, and after some struggles have decided to pretty much redo the high poly model. I need cleaner normal maps... And maybe she needs a little less blush.

As usual, please forgive my use of T-pose. This is just a quick render so I can share my progress :)

Male Anatomy - Timed Sculpt

I took the opportunity to test my modeling speed when blocking in my male model's face, so I decided to time myself and post the outcome!
I still have a lot to do to the face, but I'm happy with the result of only 80 minutes of work.
He's in that "awkward" phase :P

Male Anatomy WIP 1

A very primitive WIP of my next project, a male anatomy study. I look forward to fleshing him out!

Anatomy Study - Head Update

I decided to add some quick hair to see if she looks natural enough. I can't decide between sculpting the hair or doing hair planes... I am starting to feel good about the face, but I still want to thoroughly polish this sculpt to completion (and then make it game-ready).

Female Anatomy Piece - Update 4

In class I spent time working the feet and trying to understand how I can make the eyes more natural. Something about the facial proportions make me worried that it's not correct. I also spent some time trying to improve the topology to help with the detailing later.

Luz - Low Poly Model

WIP! Sorry for the T-pose, this was just a quick render to get my character "out there".

This is Luz, the main character of "Sanctuary: The Island of Dolls".
She is unwrapped and the low poly is completed. I look forward to detailing and texturing her, as well as seeing her rigged and animated.

Joe's Portfolio Class - Update One.

Here's one of my first renders of my posed bear. I still have a lot to learn about lighting in Marmoset Toolbag, but I am not intimidated by having to figure it out as I go.

Additionally, here's my calendar for the quarter:
I plan on making just one fully completed, game-ready character.
